Mandate of the Task Force

The Task Force on Knowledge Management, as a body representing the IAACA members, is mandated to develop and maintain a Knowledge Management system to achieve the objectives of the work plan. More specifically, its task would be:

    • To identify and articulate the information needs of the ACAs and other users.
    • Decide/ approve the basic structure and the broad framework of the Knowledge Management system and its components.
    • To lay down the criteria for inclusion or exclusion of information in the system and to decide on issues of confidentiality and access to the portal.
    • To periodically report to the executive committee and the members of IAACA on the progress and important developments pertaining to the activity of Knowledge Management.
    • To ensure necessary administrative arrangements for the smooth operation of the Knowledge Management activity.

All decisions taken by the Task Force would be subject to approval of the IAACA, Executive Committee. The Task Force would hold periodic meetings to review the progress of work and deliberate on important matters. It has been decided that as far as possible these meetings shall be held alongside the meeting of the IAACA Executive Committee. English is to be the working language of the Task Force for both internal communications and meetings.
